Founded in 1878 TSU has been developing as an elite higher educational institution of classic type united education and research. More than 500 National research grants were realized In the last 4 years. 17 TEMPUS and 13 INTAS projects were executed within the collaboration with EU. 45 scientific and educational schools offer their services in the next areas: nanotechnology and materials, information and telecommunication technologies and supercomputing; environmental management and biological systems, and social-humanitarian technologies in the economy and social sphere.
The Higher School of Business (earlier – Department of Economics) was established in 1963. Since that time education in the field of Finance, Taxation, Accounting, Banking, World and National Economy as well as Management, has been actively conducted. Bachelors and masters programmes in the field of Finance and Credit, Accounting, Analysis and Audit, Taxation, World Economics are offered since 2010.

The Baikal State University is one of the leading economic Universities in Russia. BSU has a current enrolment of over 29000 students in UG and PG programs and over 500 teachers. The University has 11 Faculties that offer 35 Bachelor and 24 Master programmes. One bachelor and one master programmes are double degree programmes with EU HEIs. BSU applies ECTS and issues European Diploma Supplement. BSU has a good experience of participating in 8 projects of the EU TACIS and TEMPUS, concerning academic mobility, development of new curricula, programmes and courses according to European standards and teaching materials for MSc/MBA in Russian Universities. The Faculty of Finance is the oldest faculty. It offers programmes in Finance, Banking, Finance, Insurance and Taxation. Around 1500 full-time and part-time students are taught at this faculty every year.

The UAS bfi Vienna was founded in 1996 and is one of the leading Universities of Applied Sciences in Austria. As a non-profit HEI it offers economics-oriented study programmes at European level. It enrols 1,800 students in 13 study programmes (7 Bachelor and 6 Master programmes). Graduates of the MA programmes are legally entitled to enrol for PhD-programmes at other universities. UAS bfi Vienna has a strong profile in Finance and offers a specialised MA Programme on “International Banking and Finance”. This expertise is complemented by experience in teacher training. UAS bfi Vienna has profound know-how in implementing the Bologna process, as certified by the Diploma Supplement- and ECTS labels from the European Commission in 2006 and 2009. It comprises over 570 staff and faculty members and has proven its capacity for sound management of EU projects. In the past, the UAS bfi Vienna has already successfully implemented several projects under the Lifelong Learning Programme.

Umeå University was founded in 1965 and it is Sweden's fifth oldest university. Umeå School of Business and Economics (USBE), one of Sweden’s five business schools, is a campus school. Although it was founded in 1989, education and research in business date back to 1966. The school offers 6 undergraduate programs, 7 Master’s Programs, doctoral programs, and a large number of courses, with a total enrolment of approximately 2000 students.

Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics & Law is one of leading HEIs in Far East with enrolment of 13,000 students & 900 teachers. It has 6 Schools offering 31 bachelor & 22 master programs. Two of them are joint (China) & double degree (France). It has 3 branches.
Main activities are as follows: higher education on undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, transfer, distance & LLL programs, research, innovation. International educational programs & projects include academic mobility, ECTS & European Diploma Supplement.

University of Maribor consists of 17 faculties with approximately 20,000 students per year and 200 study programmes. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) was founded in 1959. The academic staff at FEB is organised in 13 Departments, the research activities and consultancy are conducted within 14 Institutes. The FEB’s study programmes are accredited by Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency (SQAA), by the European Council for Business Education (ECBE) and by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programmes (ACBSP). Study programmes of Economics and Business sciences are offered at undergraduate level as well as on master and doctoral level (including study field Finance and Banking).

Technical University of Košice, Slovakia (TUKE) was established in 1952 and at present consists of 9 faculties, 16 500 MSc, BSc and PhD students and 1800 teachers and researchers. The Faculty of Economics was established in 1992. It offers accredited study programmes in the field of Finance, Banking and Investment; Public Administration and Regional Development; Business Informatics. Study programme in Finance, Banking and Investment is appropriate for highly numerate students with a strong background in Economics, who wish to pursue careers in financial institutions or in industry which call for such advanced analytical skills. The European Diploma Supplement is fully implemented at the Faculty of Economics of TUKE since 2004. The system of recognition of academic courses is well developed, based on the credit system ECTS. The Faculty continues with the implementation of the double diploma programme in cooperation with the Sophia Antipolis University in Nice.

The history of Zabaikalskiy State University (ZabSU) starts in 1966 when the affiliated branch of Irkutsk Polytechnic University was established in Chita. In 2003 it was given a Statue of State University. Today ZabSU is the largest educational centre of the region (31 scientific fields, 700 academic staff members). Scientific researches and educational process are provided on 50 departments. ZabSU cooperates with foreign universities and colleges of the PRC, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia. The Department of Economics was created in 1974. Because of the reformation process in the University, this department was subdivided into several units, one of which is Department of Economics and Accounting now. At present it graduates highly professional specialists in the sphere of Finance, Taxes and Accounting. With the help of Business School of Economics, Management, and Entrepreneurship it provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to get an academic degree.

East Siberia State University of Technology and Management (ESSUTM) was established in 1962. It offers more than 80 educational programs, 49 of which are Bachelor’s and 15 – Master’s degree programs. There are about 10000 full-time and part-time students at the University today, 330 of which are International students. Educational process is provided by 768 professors. Universities of China, Mongolia, USA, Germany, Austria, Poland, France, Holland and Turkey are foreign partners of the ESSUTM. ESSUTM provides educational and research activities at 4 institutions, 9 faculties. The Faculty of Economics was established in 1975. 64 students of the Faculty participate in DD programme (Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France). The Chair of Finance and Credit has 25 teachers among which 4 Professors, Doctors of Economics, 9 PhDs in Economics. The Chair offers 2-years master programmes (“Banking Business”, “Public Finance”, “Corporate Finance and Property Assessment”, “Insurance”).

FEUC has a strong profile in the areas of Business Management, Economics and Finance offering 4 different master programmes in these areas. This expertise is complemented by experience in teacher training (didactics, soft skills etc.). FEUC comprises over 100 staff and faculty members and has proven its capability and capacity for sound operational and financial management of EU projects.
