The project meeting and workshop of participants of TEMPUS project named “Strengthening Higher Education in the Sphere of Finance in Siberia and Far East of Russia” was held atTechnical University of Košice, Faculty of Economics, Department of Regional Science and Management from June 16, 2014 till June 20, 2014.

The following questions were discussed:
– The terminology for the purpose of ECTS Users’ guide explanation;
– ECTS key features: credit system, workload, learning outcomes and level descriptors;
– Implementing ECTS in higher education institutions;
– Quality assurance and ECTS;
– ECTS key documents
– Double diploma provision – basic facts;
– Deliverable 2.1 template;
– Experience of EU partners on Bologna requirements fulfilment;
– Deliverable 2.2 template for Agreements for new Double Degree programmes;
– Presentation on Bologna requirements fulfilment by Russian partners and discussion on Agreement for DD programmes.
The results of this meeting will be used by the project participants during the implementation of its second phase (WP2).
